Community Service (PKM) Assistance in Planning the Construction of the Tanjung Anom Holy Cross Catholic Church

Abstract

The growth of Catholics in the Parish of Santa Maria Ratu Rosari Tj. Selamat is very high, especially in Quasi Tanjung Anom, causing the Archdiocese of Medan to plan to build a new Catholic Church in Quasi Tanjung Anom that can accommodate all the faithful in the area. And at some point this church will be made into Tj. Anom Parish. The main purpose of this activity is to assist the church committee in planning and supervising the construction of the church building, both in the form of technical consultation assistance during implementation, as well as assistance in the procurement of construction materials. It is planned that the construction of the church building will include the construction of parking, offices, and courtyards. The first step is to conduct a preliminary survey to the location of the planned construction of the Tanjung Anom Quasi-Church Medan, to get an overview of the condition of the land location, and what data will be needed later in building planning. After the preliminary survey, the topographic survey and soil investigation, Design and Detail, Cost Budget Plan (RAB) and Technical Specifications and Implementation and Supervision become the follow-up work. Community service activities in the form of planning, supervision and implementation of the construction of the Quasi-Holy Cross Catholic Church of Tj. Anom will start from February to June 2025 in the first phase. From the calculation of the Cost Budget Plan (RAB) for planning, supervision and implementation of the construction of the Holy Cross Catholic Church Quasi Tj. Anom which includes: earthworks, structural work, architectural, electrical and mechanical work and roofing requires funds of Rp. 12,964,200,000. In the first stage of work that has been carried out, the work of the foundation and sloof and the soil retaining wall is the work of the foundation.
